Jana Zimmer Nominated for Sophie Brody Medal

Congratulations to DoppelHouse author Jana Zimmer, who has been nominated for the Sophie Brody Award by the American Library Association for her genre-defying memoir, Chocolates from Tangier: A Holocaust replacement child’s memoir of art and transformation.

This award pays homage to the late Jewish philanthropist and executive board member of the Women’s Division of United Jewish Federation, Sophie Brody, and “is given to encourage, recognize and commend outstanding achievement in Jewish literature.”
