Amir Zaki is featured in the group exhibition “Out of Control: The Concrete Art of Skateboarding” at the Audain Art Museum. in Whistler, BC, which will be open through high ski season into January 2023. The show examines the intersection of a diverse range of contemporary art practices and skateboarding. Curator Patrik Andersson notes that artists and skateboarders “observe their environment through different aesthetic means, but they both find ways, maybe poetic ways, to navigate structures designed to control them.”
