Voices from Palestine: Asmaa al-Ghoul speaks on artist panel

Palestinian author,, Asmaa al-Ghoul, who lives in exile in Toulouse, spoke on a panel at the CCCB (Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona) convened by journalist and author Ben Ehrenreich during the brief November ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war. The event featured a screening of Palestinian artist Samira Badran’s Memory of the Land, and a discussion of the ongoing war and humanitarian crisis with poet and editor Mohamad Bitari, journalist Mariam Barghouti, and al-Ghoul.

The panel features segments in Arabic and Spanish, but there is simultaneous translation available in English here.
