DoppelHouse is proud to announce that in in January 2024 the German edition of Jana Zimmer’s Chocolates from Tangier is being published by Hentrich & Hentrich, a publishing house for Jewish culture and contemporary history, along with the Heinrich Böll Stiftung.

As a second-generation Holocaust survivor, Zimmer weaves together fragments of her family’s history and witness testimony in narrative and collage, using her art as transformation and remembrance. More information here.
