The documentary video “The Forger” by filmmakers Samantha Stark, Alexandra Garcia and Pamela Druckerman has been named a finalist in the 76th Annual Peabody Awards.

The documentary is based on best-selling author Sarah Kaminsky’s book about her father, an unsung hero of the Paris Resistance in Adolfo Kaminsky: A Forger’s Life.

Kaminsky’s book has been translated into seven languages and chronicles Adolfo Kaminsky’s work as a forger for the 6th Section of the French Resistance, which saved the lives of an estimated 14,000 Jews.
