Art, Hoax, and Provocation Series: Talk with Nicholas Kahn and Richard Selesnick Now Streaming!

To finish off her Art, Hoax, and Provocation Series, Antoinette LaFarge invited collaborative artists Nicholas Kahn and Richard Selesnick to participate in an exciting conversation, hosted by Gordy Grundy and Art Report Today.

Nicholas Kahn and Richard Selesnick are a collaborative artist team who have been working together since the early 1980s, hailing from New York City and London respectively. They specialize in fictitious histories set in the past or future, represented through documentary-style photographs (especially panoramas), paintings, drawings, and elaborately crafted artifacts and costumes, often constructed of unlikely materials such as bread or fur. The result is a uniquely mesmerizing combination of absurdist fantasy and speculative anthropology.
