Escape Home has received a Book Award Honorable Mention at the International Skiing History Association’s 22nd Annual Skiing History Week, held in Steamboat Springs, Colorado – April 8-12, 2015. Though not primarily about skiing, Charles Paterson’s memoir has been enthusiastically received by members of the ISHA Book Award committee. Paterson, one of the first members of the Rocky Mountain Ski Instructors Association and now 85 years old, will attend the weekend events and will sign books.
