April 22, 2020, DoppelHouse Press held its first online conversation – the first of what we hope will be many to come. The successful event paired Mexican conceptual artist Erick Meyenberg with author and curator Ruth Estévez to discuss their new book, Even When Fall Is Here. Both Meyenberg and Estévez joined an international audience from their homes in Mexico City during the unprecedented COVID quarantine. The event was a welcome conversation about Meyenberg’s collaboration with a very special gardener in San Diego, Chris Shea, the art of gardens, and the colors flourishing in all of nature’s life cycles.
